The Invisalign Treatment Process
Initial Consultation & Exam
Your first appointment is a thorough evaluation — Dr. Baghaei reviews your teeth, bite, jaw alignment, and overall oral health to determine whether Invisalign is the right treatment approach. He will take a 3D digital scan of your smile, discuss what you want to correct, and walk you through what treatment will realistically look like, including how long it may take. There is no commitment required at this stage; the consultation is simply about making sure you have the full picture before deciding.
Aligner Fitting & Pick Up
Your digital scans are submitted to Invisalign’s lab, where your full series of custom aligners is fabricated to your precise measurements. When they arrive, you will come in to receive your first set, get guidance on wear schedule and care, and — if your treatment plan calls for it — have small tooth-colored attachments placed to help certain teeth move with greater precision. From this visit forward, you are actively in treatment.
Check-ins
Roughly every six to eight weeks, you will visit Smile Design Holistic for a brief progress appointment. Dr. Baghaei confirms that your teeth are tracking correctly with the planned movement, provides your next set of aligners, and addresses any questions that have come up during treatment. These appointments are quick and focused — most patients are in and out in well under half an hour.

Gently brush your aligners with a soft toothbrush and water to keep them clean. When they’re not in your mouth, store them in their protective case to keep them safe and germ-free.
